1. Objective and scope of the Policy
La Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta SpA (hereinafter BERETTA), with its registered office at Via P. Beretta, 18 25063 Gardone Val Trompia (BS) Italy, attaches the greatest importance and care to the protection of privacy and Personal Data, as well as compliance with the provisions of the applicable Legislation.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and the free movement of such Data (hereinafter “GDPR”) states that the Data of a personal nature must be processed lawfully, fairly and transparently. Therefore, this confidentiality policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) aims to provide you with simple, clear information on the Processing of Personal Data concerning you, as part of your browsing and operations carried out on our website.
2. Data Controller
As part of your activity on the site www.leguideberetta.com, we collect and use Personal Data relating to you, natural persons (hereinafter “Concerned Person”).
For all Processing, BERETTA and the International Hunting Sport Shooting Federation (hereinafter FITASC), an Association under the 1901 Law with its headquarters at 10, rue Médéric – 75017 Paris France, determine the means and purposes of the Processing. .
Thus, BERETTA and FITASC act as joint Data Controllers, within the meaning of the Regulations relating to Personal Data, and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to Processing. Personal Data and the free movement of this Data.
3. Personal data collected for the purpose of establishing the Beretta Guide
BERETTA, sponsored by FITASC and the French Ball-Trap Federation (FFBT), has created the Beretta Guide to classify or reference French clay target shooting clubs, available online at: www.leguideberetta.com . During the development of the Beretta Guide, a letter with a questionnaire was sent to French clubs in June 2022.
3.1 Personal data of shooting clubs classified from 1 to 5 arrows, according to several criteria
Contact information (email address, telephone number, postal address) of classified shooting clubs was collected based on the information provided in the questionnaire completed by the shooting club manager and sent to the Beretta Guide.
3.2 Personal data of referenced shooting clubs
Contact information (email address, telephone number, postal address) of referenced shooting clubs was collected from publicly available data (directory of the French Ball-Trap Federation (FFBT), available at https://www.ffbt.asso.fr/).
In our letter of June 7, 2022, we informed you that your club, being affiliated with the FFBT, would be automatically referenced in this guide and that if you did not wish this, you could inform us within 15 days of receipt of the current.
3.3 Personal data collected during your navigation on the site
Only technical cookies (necessary only) are installed on the website (see cookies policy).
3.4 Personal data, which may be collected via our contact email address or by telephone
When you contact Beretta Guide by mail, telephone or email, we collect your data based on your consent to respond to your request.
4. Do we share your Personal Data?
Your Data is intended for authorized BERETTA and FITASC employees responsible for the management and legal obligations of the Beretta Guide, depending on the purposes of the collection and within the limits of their respective responsibilities.
They may be transmitted for certain tasks linked to the purposes, and within the limits of their respective missions and authorizations, to the service providers and subcontractors we use to carry out a set of technical operations and tasks:

We do not sell your Data.
5. Are your Personal Data transferred to Third Countries?
BERETTA and FITASC store Personal Data in France, or at least within the European Economic Area (EEA).
6. How long do we keep your Personal Data?
We keep your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which we hold this Data, in order to meet your needs or to fulfill our legal obligations.
Retention periods vary depending on the data source:
- Personal data from clubs listed in the Beretta Guide;
- Personal data of people who have contacted the Beretta Guide.
The retention periods for your Data are as follows:

7. How do we ensure the security of your Personal Data?
BERETTA and FITASC are committed to protecting the Personal Data we collect, or what we process, against loss, destruction, alteration, access or unauthorized disclosure.
Thus, we implement all appropriate technical and organizational measures, depending on the nature of the Data and the risks that their Processing entails. These measures must make it possible to preserve the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data. They may include practices such as limited access to Personal Data by authorized persons, due to their functions, pseudonymization or even encryption.
In addition, our practices and policies and/or physical and/or logical security measures (secure access, authentication process, backup copy, software, etc.) are regularly checked and updated if necessary.
8. What are your rights?
The GDPR provides Data Subjects with rights that they can exercise. Thus are planned:
- Right to information : the right to have clear, precise and complete information on the use of Personal Data by BERETTA and FITASC.
- Right of access : the right to obtain a copy of the Personal Data that the Data Controller holds about the requester.
- Right of rectification : the right to have Personal Data rectified if they are inaccurate or obsolete and/or to complete them if they are incomplete.
- Right to erasure / right to be forgotten : the right, under certain conditions, to have the Data erased or deleted, unless BERETTA and FITASC have a legitimate interest in retaining it.
- Right of opposition : the right to object to the Processing of Personal Data by BERETTA and FITASC for reasons relating to the particular situation of the applicant (under conditions).
- Right to withdraw Consent : the right at any time to withdraw Consent when Processing is based on Consent.
- Right to limitation of Processing : the right, under certain conditions, to request that the Processing of Personal Data be temporarily suspended.
- Right to Data portability : the right to request that Personal Data be transmitted in a reusable format allowing them to be used in another Database.
- Right not to be subject to an automated decision : the right for the applicant to refuse fully authorized decision-making and/or to exercise additional guarantees offered in this matter.
- Right to define post-mortem directives : the right for the requester to define directives relating to the fate of Personal Data after their death.
Additional rights may be granted by local regulations to Data Subjects.
To this end, BERETTA and FITASC have implemented a procedure for managing the rights of Individuals in accordance with the requirements of the applicable Legislation. This procedure establishes:
- The standards to be respected to ensure transparent information for Data Subjects;
- Legal requirements that must be respected;
- The authorized means of submitting a request for each right, according to the category of Data Subjects;
- The operational processes to process these requests in accordance with the above requirements;
- The parties involved in these processes, their roles and responsibilities.

When you send us a request to exercise a Right, you are asked to specify as much as possible the scope of the request, the type of right exercised, the Processing of Personal Data concerned, and any other useful element, in order to facilitate the examination of your request. In addition, in case of reasonable doubt, you may be asked to prove your identity.
You also have the right to refer any complaint relating to the way in which BERETTA and FITASC collect and process your data.

This Policy may be regularly updated to take into account developments in the Regulations relating to Personal Data.
